To our team at Ladris:
We are facing in our world today a crisis of truth. What this means is that many people are no longer concerned with what is true and what is not.
We see this in our own market, in conversations on disaster preparedness with government officials, politicians, and community leaders. Ladris’ models and data are used to make decisions of consequence; and there is power in this, as our models shine a light on hard truths and tough choices.
And yet, on our journey, there are those we meet who would distort these realities to align with the narratives they most favor. Often their narratives are convenient, easier, or more comfortable. But they are, at the end of the day, not objectively true. Ladris never has, and never will, support a narrative we know to be false. We will never put a price on truth.
Instead, Ladris will lead by example. We will not stand by while communities suffer from preventable disasters. It is up to our generation and those that follow to change course before it is too late.
