We believe that as a result of the catastrophic fires and floods we have experienced over the last decade, the social contract between the people and the government has fundamentally changed, or at least been clarified: Our government IS responsible for not only protecting its citizens from foreign enemies but also from death or serious harm due to wildfire, floods, and other disasters. Governments' failure to take every action possible to secure the safety of its people while having the means to, constitutes negligence.
For civic leaders determined to address these complex public safety challenges, Ladris offers a comprehensive suite of technological platforms, expert services, and training to deliver on this mandate.
There are those regions with leaders that are not yet willing to come to terms with this new social contract. Ladris believes people living in these areas still deserve free access to critical information about their risk and how to protect themselves and their loved ones, and so we will provide this information to them at no cost.
This is our mission and our mandate.
